Autumn Activities

Fall is here and soccer season is officially underway! These photos are from the first game of the season against Graham-Kapowisin. Leanne was there and took these awesome pics of the action in the stands and on the field. =) GO PHS!

Enough for nine apple pies, one apple crisp, (so far), and plenty of good eating!

The Proof is in the Picking

HARVEST TIME!

The apples are smiling! It's time to begin bringing them home. This weather may slow them down just a little, but in a week to ten days we'll have to get them down. Sally and I put tape around the tree and signs so that hopefully no one else will decide to pick them. If it works for your schedule, how about August 30 to do the major pick? If you can get there sooner, you can pick smaller amounts. Gravensteins don't keep a really long time so you'll need to be deciding what to do with them.

I picked these yesterday, and we'll probably get more on Sunday afternoon.
